What working together is like

Sessions are collaborative and responsive. Some days we talk. Some days we slow way down. Some days we track sensations, emotions, or patterns as they emerge in real time.

I won’t rush you.
I won’t pathologize you.
And I won’t disappear behind a clipboard.

We work with what’s here, at a pace your system can manage.

If something isn’t working, we talk about it. If something feels meaningful, we stay with it. Therapy is a relationship, and I take that seriously.

If you’re wondering whether this could be a fit, that curiosity is enough to start.

You’re welcome to reach out to schedule a brief consultation.

Modalities

Internal Family Systems

Internal Family Systems theory refers to the system of parts that exists in every human being. Within the Self, we are comprised of my aspects/ parts. Spanning over our lifetime, they have desires/ needs/ fears that when we slow down to connect to them from an embodied, centered space- we begin to create harmony in our beautiful system.

Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR™)

EMDR is an evidence-based treatment where repetitive eye movement is way to make telling a story easier. It is also a method used in bringing down disturbance levels from acute trauma.

Mindfulness-based practices

Mindfulness involves moment-by-moment awareness of what a person is experiencing, such as paying close attention to breathing, noises, sensations in the body, inner feelings and thoughts, and our reactions to specific situations.

Sensorimotor Psychotherapy®

Sensorimotor psychotherapy (SP) is a holistic approach to healing trauma or unhealthy attachment patterns formed in early childhood. It integrates the body and movement into traditional talk therapy to address and heal ongoing psychological and physical difficulties.
